Severe thunderstorms forced the Black Eyed Peas to cancel a free benefit concert in New York's Central Park Thursday night, angering tens of thousands of fans who waited hours in the rain to see them perform.
Every once in awhile, you run across someone who you just can't help feel sorry for. Case in point; Kathy Beth Terry. She has set up a fan page for herself on Facebook. But alas, NO ONE was clicking her 'LIKE' button. When we saw this video of poor nerdy Kathy, we thought we'd help her out.
If you listen to the Morning MIX, you know both Jen and I are highly suspicious of Canadiens. We now have definitive proof that the Canucks are plotting something incredibly nefarious. We're pretty sure it all starts with this incident- as a supposed 'hockey player' tries to abduct the King Of The World- Bono.
This weekend is the unofficial start of summer- you've probably already started the grill once or twice. Good, you've got your spatula wet. Now it's time to get serious and I've got some tips that might just make it easier. If you're a master griller, read on, there's a chance to retort my twisted methods at the end.
The Sartell High School's End of Year Choir concert was held Monday night. I was in the audience and the crowd was stunned and then on their feet for La Vox's performance of Gaga's 'Bad Romance' - complete with choreography! We've got the video BEFORE it goes viral!
JT is hosting the season finale of SNL this weekend, along with Lady Gaga as musical guest- and despite what his people are saying about his latest 'romantic involvements', if this promo for Saturday night's show is any indication, his 'bromance' with Andy Samberg is still red hot.
So let's say you've been waiting for your man to propose for awhile. You're not expecting anything big, but we know if he made an effort at some sort of little production, you'd appreciate it, right? Well, this serviceman went a little out of his way to propose- he convinced the band Train to perform their hit song 'Marry Me' as part of his proposal. She better say yes-
You may not have this problem living in the idyllic Northland, but in the Big Apple, it's increasingly hard to find a good course. Problem solved! Recently this guy has been popping up on the streets of Soho with his 9 iron, a bag of 8 oz. milk cartons and a smart cabana hat.
If you've had the chance to listen to our bi-weekly Saturday morning gardening show, MIXed Greens, you know that my yard is in desperate need of a little TLC. I braved the trek into our side yard for some photos of how it looked after years of weak attempts at making it livable. Please don't laugh, but it is ok to cry. Over the next three months, I'll be documenting the transformations suggested by our MIXed Greens' host- Chanda from Fairview Gardens.
With the rolling hills, the gorgeous bay and that powerful landmark The Golden Gate, it's pretty easy to fall in love with San Francisco. If you've ever been there, you know how Pat Monahan feels. I would assume it's even easier to love the Bay Area if you've made it the home-base for your band.
