Mall Of America ‘Skate The Star’ Extended into February
Opened back on December 8th, the Mall of America's newest attraction outdoor ice rink was supposed to be closing up shop on January 27th. Due to popular demand, that date has been extended.
The new closing date for "Skate the Star" will be Monday February 18th. The custom built rink has been a huge success not only for the mall, but also the Boys and Girls Club in the Twin Cities.
MOA has been taking all the funds from ice skating rentals and donating them to the Boys and Girls Club, and has donated over $75,000 since it opened last month.
There is still time to get down to Bloomington to Skate the Star yourself! You can find the rink outside the North entrance by the star sculpture.
