Kelly’s Kitchen Club – Chocolate Macaroon Rasberry Tart
Everyone knows I love my chocolate. Seems like if I find a new chocolate fix, I'm always happy. This recipe was so simple I had to share it with you. The Chocolate-Macaroon Rasberry Tart looks like it takes hours to create, but actually, it's so simple, that you can create this in just a few minutes.
1. Press 10 oz. coconut macaroon cookies into a greased 9-in. pie plate.
2. Pour 1 cup of boiling heavy cream over 1 pound finely chopped semisweet or bittersweet chocolate in heatproof bowl.
3. Stir until smooth.
4. Pour into crust.
5. Chill 6 hours then top with raspberries.
This recipe can serve 12 people or more, depending on how you slice it. Try different fruit toppings for a new idea....Strawberries, bananas, even Mandarin Oranges would be a great twist.
