One of the few Reality T.V. shows that I have enjoyed watching is "The Bachelorette." I watched Ali Fedotowsky leave Pilot Jake for her job at Facebook, then I watched her fall in love with Roberto. Maybe that's why the news of Ali and Roberto splitting up is sad to me.

It's a proven fact that Reality T.V. love does not last. Out of the 22 seasons of "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette," only TWO couples are still together (that's a 9.1% success rate.) Seasons one Bachelorette Trista Rehn is still married to Ryan Sutter. They have been married for nearly eight years The most recent Bachelorette, Ashley Hebert, is still together with the guy she chose, J.P. Rosenbaum, but they are not married.

So why did Ali and Roberto split up? No reason was given, but last month they postponed their wedding due to "Ali's surgury." Break up rumors hit the net and Ali fought back saying,

"We didn't meet in the most traditional way.  We had a very short courtship and we only knew each other nine weeks before we got engaged.  We're still figuring out our lives as individuals. We're still engaged, we're still living together . . . we just don't feel the need to walk down the aisle right now."

At least they gave it a shot and broke it off before things got too complicated! I will miss the photos of Roberto on her Facebook page though!

Would you ever go on a Reality Show to "try" and find love?
