Love in Bloom! Minnesotan Gets Another Rose On Golden Bachelor
Were you a regular viewer of "The Bachelor" or "The Bachelorette"? The new spinoff show is "The Golden Bachelor" featuring Gary Turner as a 71 year old Bachelor looking for love. If you've been watching then you probably saw that Minnesota was highlighted this past week.
Personally, I haven't been a regular viewer of these shows, but it always gets interesting and draws your attention when someone local is a part of a show. That's just what's going on with the Golden Bachelor. Not in the loop? Here's what's been happening.
Leslie Fhima is a Minneapolis resident and stars on the show. The show is down to the final 3 contestants. On the latest episode of "The Golden Bachelor" the last date of the show was Fhima's and it was right here in her home state of Minnesota. They spent time with Fhima's family at the restaurant Brick x Mortar located in Downtown Minneapolis.
She introduced The Golden Bachelor, Gary Turner, to her family. Part of that family seemed to steal the show. Her grandkids, Sofia and Jackson Chazin, had some hard-hitting questions for Turner and Jackson stated, "You better not hurt my Glama".
By the time the date was over Fhima declared those three big words to the Golden Bachelor, "I love you". Turner reciprocated with an "I love you" back. Only problem is that he has let the audience know that he is also in love with the other two finalists.
At the end of the episode Turner gave Fhima one of the two roses that signify who will stay on the show and vie for his love. So, our Minnesota connection will be back on the next episode.
For me, these shows seem like a really awkward way to meet and get to know someone. Not something I'd choose, but hey, what do I know?
The final episode is scheduled for November 30th. Will she be the Golden Bachelor's final pick? Only time will tell.
