“The Hunger Games” and “Bridesmaids” Have Been Nominated for Eight “Golden Popcorns”

I'd say the movies that came out in the past year have been pretty good! Nominees for the MTV Movie Awards were announced last night. "The Hunger Games" and "Bridesmaids" tied for the most nominations, with eight each.

They're both up for Movie of the Year, along with "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2", "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" and "The Help".

There are five new categories this year: Best Music, Best On-Screen Transformation, Best Gut-Wrenching Performance, Best Cast and Best On-Screen Dirtbag.

The show airs live on June 3rd on MTV, obviously. There's no host yet. Last year, they had Jason Sudeikis.
