Teacher Of The Week: Nick Percuoco of Pine Meadow Elementary
Congratulations to this week's "Teacher of the Week," Nick Percuoco of Pine Meadow Elementary School in Sartell. Mr. Percuoco is a first grade teacher at the school.
He was nominated by Kristy Pappenfus, who notes the amount of time the teacher puts into making sure every student gets the best education possible:
Mr. Percuoco is an excellent teacher 1st Grade teacher! He makes class fun and exciting for the kids. My son was nervous and scared about going distance learning and having to do his work on an IPAD. Mr. Percuoco took his own personal time out of his evening to do a 1 on 1 zoom call with my son and I to answer our questions and make my son less worried about the transition. That is truly going above and beyond. My son thinks 1st grade is SO fun and has really grown this year and I believe that is all thanks to this amazing teacher.

Nobody knows what this school year will be like. But one thing we know is that we want to continue to recognize teachers in Central Minnesota, even if it's in an empty classroom. We are ready to adjust to whatever situation presents itself.
