While St. Cloud may not have a municipal pool for folks to swim in, there are a number of fun and expansive splash pads in the area for kids to cool off during the hot summer months. The city's splash pads are now open for business.. just in time for the long weekend!

There are six splash pads in St. Cloud:

- Centennial Park (1725 Centennial Drive)
- Haws Park (805 13th St. S)
- Lake George/Eastman Park (1101 7th St. S)
- Riverside Park (1725 Killian Blvd)
- 10/10 Park - 1114 9th Ave SE
- Westwood Park (720 Driftwood Drive)

While most splash pads are open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., the Lake George Splash Pad closes at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays during Summertime By George season and the Westwood Splash Pad does not open until 3 p.m. while school is still in session.

My kids love going to the splash pad throughout the summer months, preferring the Westwood one because it tends to be a little quieter with less chaos than some of the other splash pads!

There are also splash pads in Sauk Rapids, Sartell and Cold Spring for those located outside of the St. Cloud city limits, plus the huge one at River's Edge Park in Waite Park!
