St. Cloud Restaurant Serving Up $1 Frostbite Drinks in January

January is often times associated with snowflakes and the color ice blue. It's cold, there's usually a Polar Vortex that rips through at some point, and temps above freezing are far off. Applebee's knows that and they are trying to help us through this rough month.

For the rest of January, we can enjoy a taste of a tropical getaway at Applebee’s in St. Cloud with the $1 Vodka Rum Frostbite.

Served in a 10-ounce mug, the $1 Vodka Rum Frostbite is a boozy, tropical cocktail made with a delicious blend of rum, vodka, blue curacao, creamy coconut and pineapple. This Insta-worthy $1 drink with its blue and white swirls, is served on the rocks and is the perfect wintery way to toast to the year ahead.   

Patrick Kirk is the vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s and created this frosty concoction. He said, "In the peak of chilly weather, it’s the perfect warm up when you’re ready to tell winter to frost itself.”

Patrick knows what up. Winter has hardly started and I'm ready to wish it farewell. A couple of these winter frostbite drinks might help us forget how nasty the weather can be.
