ST. CLOUD -- What you may see as an ordinary diaper or baby blanket, Steph Theis of Sartell sees as a work of art.

"As a young girl I was very crafty, I always liked to make things," says Theis.

It's that same creativity which led Theis to open her own business for baby-related items in Centennial Plaza in St. Cloud.

'Oh Baby on 8th' offers a variety of gift ideas for babies, such as diaper babies, diaper cakes, and diaper wreaths for any occasion.

Theis began operating her business from home, but quickly grew out of the space. She says each gift is handmade and can take up to three hours to make.

"I got to make something unique that it stands out and if it doesn't look good I'll take it apart and start over," says Theis.

Along with the baby items, Theis also sells a variety of gift baskets, Christmas baskets, Avon items, and more.

She says she is always thinking of new creative ideas and each product can be use for more than just a decoration.

"Every gift comes apart and is reusable. So not only is it a beautiful gift, but you can tear it down and the mother has all these great products for their child," says Theis.

'Oh Baby on 8th' is open Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
