How Soon Is Too Soon To Set Up Christmas Decorations?

As a general rule my mom would always make us wait to set up our Christmas decorations until the day after Thanksgiving. As I've gotten older, I've felt the Christmas spirit earlier and earlier.

I'm all about waiting for Halloween to be over before I start getting into the Christmas spirit, but is the day after Halloween fair game? I mean, once November first hits, is it OK to set up your tree? I'm asking for a friend. Take the poll below!
