UNDATED - An active weather pattern will bring another round of snow to the area, with the next bout arriving Tuesday. A wintry mix of snow, sleet and light freezing rain will be possible across southern Minnesota and west central Wisconsin overnight and Tuesday morning as well.

There is a small chance for another period of light snow Wednesday and Thursday.

After the rounds of snow, a strong high pressure system will build into the area and bring much colder temperatures for the end of the week. The coldest day will be Friday.

The cold snap looks short-lived, with temperatures warming up over the weekend into next week.
