Dying St. Cloud Veteran Asks For Letters In Newspaper Ad

An Army veteran at the St. Cloud VA Hospital is dying of cancer and has taken out an ad in the paper asking strangers to send him letters.

James Wiitamaki took out the ad unbeknownst to family members, according to his great niece's Facebook post. As of Tuesday morning, the post had been shared 1,004 times.
