Adele is on the road to recovery following vocal cord surgery last November, and will be attending the 2012 Grammy awards ceremony in February. Fingers crossed she’ll be well enough to sing!

According to Massachusetts General Hospital, “Adele underwent vocal cord microsurgery by [Director of Mass General Voice Center] Dr. Steven Zeitels to stop recurrent vocal cord hemmorhage from a benign polyp,” and she’s expected to make a “full recovery.” Don’t worry, we looked up Dr. Zeitels’ credentials and Adele’s golden voice is in very good hands.

The ‘Someone Like You’ singer is definitely attending the Feb. 12 Grammys ceremony, where she’s been nominated for six awards, including album of the year and song of the year, for her epic album ’21.’ A source close to her has said she’s been applying hot compresses to help her healing process. She has every intention of performing, but she’s ultimately following doctor’s orders. We’ll know by early February whether we’ll get to hear her sing at the Staples Center of Feb. 12.

As if vocal therapy isn’t enough, the songstress is also getting in runway shape for the ceremony, and has reportedly lost 25 pounds. Wow. Is there anything Adele can’t do?
