I grew up eating all kinds of different cereal.  I remember going to my Grandparents house and having rice puffs....I don't think they were anything like Sugar Smacks with the Frog promoting them, but they were still really tasty.  Then I'd stay at my other Grandparents home and have Shredded Wheats...I would pretend I was a horse eating hay. That made it fun.  My favorite cereal?  OOH....Let's see...At times it's been things like Count Chocula...Trix...Franken Berry....Boo Berry?  Okay so maybe I was a little on the Lucky Charms side of things.  These days, I always prefer Honey Nut Cheerios.  My sons love Reese's Puffs, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch.

Apparently, our household is right on track with the rest of the US, according to a survey done on Facebook.

The top best selling cereals are:

  • Honey Nut Cheerios
  • Frosted Flakes
  • Honey Bunches of Oats
  • Cheerios
  • Cinnamon Toast Crunch
  • Special K
  • Frosted Mini Wheats
  • Lucky Charms
  • Froot Loops
  • Raisin Bran
The most loved are much different, according to facebook, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Special K top the list.  Our Mix listeners liked:
