It's only mid-June, but rumor has it Walmart is already carrying pumpkin spice for the 2018 season!

I came across an article by The Impulsive Buy that claimed a man in Wisconsin had already found Special K Pumpkin Spice Crunch cereal on Walmart shelves.

My initial thought was, "No. No! It's way too early for pumpkin anything!"

So early, actually, I had to wonder if it was pumpkin spice left over from last fall. Unfortunately, I can't seem to see any date on the box in the photo.

Well, I had to confirm whether or not this was really the case and so called the Walmart Supercenter on 2nd St in St. Cloud. After asking if they were carrying Special K Pumpkin Spice Crunch cereal...and waiting on hold while he checked...I can now confirm...

No -- St. Cloud area Walmarts are not carrying pumpkin spice yet (at least the Special K cereal).

Phew. That was a close call.
