Upcoming Warm Weather Similar To A Stretch In 1981

ST. CLOUD - We're heading for a warm stretch the likes of which we haven't seen in 36 years.  The National Weather Service says mid to upper 50s are in the forecast Friday through early next week.

The record highs for St. Cloud during that stretch:
Thursday, February 16th: 53 (1981)
Friday, February 17th: 54 (1981)
Saturday, February 18th: 56 (1981)
Sunday, February 19th: 56 (1981)
Monday, February 20th 57 (1981)

The National Weather Service says some temperature records will likely be broken by early next week.

The warmest temperature ever recorded in St. Cloud for any day in February was 59, which happened just last year on February 27th
