Is It Weird To Give Your Pet A Valentine’s Day Gift? [VOTE]

I was scrolling through Facebook yesterday and I noticed that one of my acquaintances had given their pet a Valentine. I thought it was super weird and pretty bizarre because I think Valentine's Day is meant to be a holiday for people in relationships to share with each other.

I was talking to my mom about it and she said she didn't think it was weird at all. Her argument is that kids pass out Valentine's Day cards in school to their friends. So, it's not just a holiday meant for couples. If someone loves their dog and wants to give them a special gift on Valentine's Day, then more power to them.

While I understand where she's coming from, I think it's a little much. Maybe I'm just a little bit of a Valentine's Day Grinch.
