Do you have old keyboards, DVD players, Exercise 'Smart' mirrors, and other electronic devices that no longer work, or that you simply don't use anymore? Have you been wondering how you can ever get rid of these items?
You are in luck. The Stearns County Household Hazardous Waste Facility is holding an E-waste recycling event on Thursday, May 15th.
TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS FIRST TIME FREE EVENT
The event is FREE and is only for this one day. It will take place from 8 am until 4 pm, or until they have reached capacity; so it's probably a good idea to bring your items earlier than later.

WHAT CAN YOU BRING?
There might be some confusion on what is accepted and what will not be accepted at this event. Let me break it down for you.
ACCEPTED ITEMS INCLUDE:
- Television sets: Large and small TVs will be accepted, as well as CRT and Flat Screens
- CPU Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, and E-Readers
- Monitors (CRT and Flat Screen)
- Printers, Scanners Fax Machines and Copiers
- Miscellaneous Consumer Electronic Devices
- Keyboards
- Mice
- VCR/DVD/DVR players
- VR headsets
- Exercise Smart Mirrors
- Home Security Displays
- Smartboards
THINGS THAT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED

Kitchen Appliances
Hygiene Electronics
Outdoor or garden electronics
Household electronics

You will be able to drop off any of the items mentions 'free of charge' during this event.
5 ITEMS PER VEHICLE
Note: Keep in mind that only 5 items per vehicle will be accepted. So don't get too excited and pile up a trailer's worth of junk! There is a limit. :-)
