Support Local Businesses: Creekside Buffet & Restaurant [LISTEN]

It's more important now more than ever to support local businesses like bars and restaurants during the shut down.

Every weekday morning at 8 a.m. we'll be visiting with a local restaurant operator to find out how they are doing during the pandemic. We'll check-in and find out what specials they're running, how you can order for delivery, take-out our curbside pickup.

Today, were joined on the show by Chad Gross, owner of Creekside Buffet & Restaurant in Sartell. 

They're a relatively new restaurant in the area that opened up in 2020. Because of the bar and restaurant shut down in Minnesota, they've had to temporarily stop offering up the buffet.

People were just starting to get to know them when, Gross says, "we didn't really get a chance to get established like I had wanted to."

They offer up a vast menu of all things ranging from burgers and sandwiches on their lunch menu to hearty chicken, rib and pasta dinners.

"A lot of people like my ribs. I do everything mostly in house, so, I make everything from scratch. We do our own ribs, I slow cook them and I make my own barbeque sauce," he added.

The Rib dinner comes with mac & cheese and your choice of coleslaw or garlic bread.

One of their best sellers has been their chicken dinner special which comes in a 4 or 8 piece option. It's served with mashed potatoes and gravy, along with your choice of coleslaw or corn.

On their Facebook page, they post different specials each day. This week they featured a themed taco night, a special on 3 cheese and vegetable tortellini and several lunch specials on burgers, wraps, sandwiches and pulled pork.

"Basically, everything right now is on special … I...knocked the price down on everything because I'm pretty sure a lot of people could use a deal right now," Gross said.

The restaurant is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. for take-out, curbside pickup and delivery. You can support Creekside Buffet & Restaurant by placing an order at 320-203-9999.
