Was that a new song from Lauv playing on Mix 94.9 this week? Why yes, yes it was!

Singer, songwriter and musician Lauv has been doing music for years -- he took piano and viola lessons as a child, started guitar lessons when he was 11 and went on to study music at New York University.

But he's flown relatively under the radar until the past couple years with hits like "The Other," "I Like Me Better" and "No Promises" with Cheat Codes and Demi Lovato.

Lauv has toured with Ed Sheeran as an opener and most recently headlined his own tour this year. He'll tour with Sheeran again this fall; you can see them both at US Bank Stadium October 20 and you can get tickets here.
