You've probably heard the adage "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade."

Well, two men out of Ely, MN did just that...sort of.

With the Land of 10,000 lakes freezing over, Joe Bianco and Cam Regan decided to try something never attempted before -- they created a rotating carousel on a lake!

KBJR6 out of Duluth reports that it took the men a day to cut a circle in the ice of Burntside Lake just outside of Ely. It took them an additional month to build the ice luminaries on the rotating float.

A trolling motor allows the carousel to rotate and not freeze into place.

A video of the winter wonder shared to Youtube by Taylor Johnson has gained over 19,000 views in just four days.
