The Chisago County Sheriff's Office posted a photo of the offender and his porky friend to Facebook:

With a touch of humor, the Chisago County Sheriff's Office admits that finding a pig on a lap was a first even for them! Though on a serious note, they also clarify that it does qualify as distracted driving.

April is Distracted Driving Awareness month, and Minnesota drivers can expect extra patrols as they enforce a MN Toward Zero Deaths initiative.

P.S. -- if you look close, you can spot an additional piglet in the photo!
