They don't call me one-man-boy-band at the office for nothing. I thought it would be fun to find out who Minnesotans thought were the best boy-bands of all-time. Thanks for finding your inner tween self to help with the list. Here is YOUR Top 12.

#12: New Edition - Formed in Boston back in 1982. The group originally consisted of Ricky Bell, Ronnie DeVoe, Michael Bivins, Bobby Brown, and Ralph Tresvant. Bobby would leave the group in 1985 to pursue a solo career eventually being replaced by Johnny Gill. The group still performs today. Lets not forget thanks to NE we have BBD.

#11: The Osmonds - Originally formed as a barber shop quartet featuring brothers Alan, Wayne, Merril and Jay. They added younger brothers Donny and Jimmy and ruled the 1970s with hit classics like "One Bad Apple." My sister-in-law joined the groups fan club back in the day. I think she still is card carrying member today.

#10: 98 Degrees - The state of Ohio can claim this talented quartet. The group consists of brothers Nick and Drew Lachey, Justin Jeffre and founding member Jeff Timmons. The guys reunited back in the summer of 2013 for a sold-out arena tour with Boys II Men and NKOTB.

#9: O-Town - The five guys who make up O-Town all came together on the reality show "Making The Band" and hit the Billboard Hot 100 with songs like "Liquid Dreams" and "All Or Nothing." Four of the members Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick, Dan Miller and Erik Estrada reunited in 2013 minus Ashley Parker-Angel and released their third studio album "Lines & Circles" in 2014. The group heads back out on the road in January 2016.

#8: All-4-One - The "Dukes of R&B" are one of the most underrated vocal groups of all-time. They've sold over 22 million albums worldwide and still enjoy massive success in Southeast Asia. All-4-One are Jamie Jones, Delious Kennedy, Tony Borowiak, and Alfred  Nevarez. The group won a Grammy in 1995 for their massive hit "I Swear."

#7: Take That - Manchester, England's best export has to be the group Take That. They had tremendous success in the 1990s and their song "Back For Good" hit #1 in 31 different countries around the globe. I love that Minnesota remembered these guys. Lets not forget if it wasn't for this group, we wouldn't have Robbie Williams.

#6: LFO - Who can forget the 1999 classic "Summer Girls?" Rich Cronin (RIP), Devin Lima and Brad Fischetti struck gold with other radio sing-alongs like "Girl On TV" and "Every Other Time." Cronin died on September 8, 2010, after battling leukemia, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston Massachusetts. I'm proud to call Rich a friend and he's missed every day. Shout out to original member Brian (Brizz) Gillis.

#5: Menudo - The Puerto Rican boy-band who released their first album in 1977. The group went through many lineup changes over the years with the final lineup breaking up in 2009. One alum of the band you may recall is Ricky Martin (Mr. Livin' La Vida Loca himself).

#4: Backstreet Boys - Who didn't have a poster of Brian, Nick, AJ, Howie or Kevin on their wall back in the late 90s? The group has sold over 175 million albums worldwide and their still together today. The guys were recently honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and plan to tour in 2016. Nick Carter is currently apart of the cast of Dancing with the Stars and produced a movie with other notable boy-band alums called "Dead 7" slated for release in 2016.

#3: *NSYNC - They barely beat out the guys from BSB for the #3 spot. N-Sync followed the success of Backstreet Boys, even using the same management company and record label to duplicate the blueprint. The groups 2000 release "No Strings Attached" sold a record-breaking 2.42 million copies in its first week of release. The album would go on to sell almost 10 million copies by the end of the year. Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick are forever etched in the hearts of girls around the world. Justin has become a triple threat following his stint with the band. He was recently inducted in the Memphis Music Hall of Fame earlier this year.

#2: One Direction (1D) - X Factor finalists back in 2010 and global phenomenons in 2015. Harry, Liam, Niall (my daughters favorite), Louis and Zayne took the world by storm with their debut single "What Makes You Beautiful" in 2011. It was the most pre-ordered single in Sony Music Entertainment's history. The groups fifth studio album "Made in the A.M." minus Zayne will hit stores on November 13th. If Ashli had her say, they would be #1.

P.S. I went to their show at TCF Bank Stadium earlier this year, and I still can't hear!

#1: New Kids on the Block (NKTOB) - The OG's, the godfathers, the brainchild of Boston producer Maurice Starr (who put together New Edition). NKOTB are still "Hangin' Tough" 30 years later with no end in site. The group consists of brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Danny Wood, Donnie Wahlberg and the baby of the bunch Joey McIntyre. They, subsequently, became the first 'teen' act to garner five top ten hits from a single album, Hangin' Tough (1988). The guys reunited to record a new album in late 2007 and announced their reunion to the world on the Today Show early the next year. They show no signs of slowing down with a new album coming out in 2016.

I had the pleasure of managing and touring the globe with members Jordan Knight and Danny Wood from 2003-2006. I also co-wrote Jordan's 2005 hit "Where is Your Heart Tonight," which peaked at #12 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary Charts.

Honorable mentions include: The Monkees, Boys II Men, Jodeci, The Wanted, Hi-Five and the Jackson Five (J5).
