Sunday afternoon was a great time to be a Vikings fan. The purple and gold edged the Packers 27-25 on national TV as part of America's Game of the Week on Fox. Right after the big win, Sam Darnold, had the chance to be interviewed by a few big names including recently retired NFL QB Tom Brady. That interview, which was part of Tom Brady's aftergame award, included an awkward moment for Darnold.

You can watch the full clip below, but the way FOX uploaded the video from Sunday, which was the Tom Brady LFG award winner/interview after the game made our QB look somewhat clueless.

The clip seems to start with Darnold asking Tom what the abbreviation LFG stands for, as he is holding the award, and Tom takes a moment to spell it out to Darnold, who quickly replies "Oh, OK, Love it!"

Listening to Sam talk to Tom he is saying all of the things a franchise QB says, he makes it about the team and not himself, it really is great to hear, and hopefully, he means it.

While the LFG award isn't a league award, it might foreshadow what could be coming Darold's way in the offseason, you can't say Sam isn't going to be up for comeback player of the year, or MVP if he leads the Vikings deep into the playoffs, maybe even wins a championship...

No award or time with the G.O.A.T really matters yet, as the only thing the team is thinking about now is going 1-0 this week, against the Detroit Lions for a chance at the No. 1 overall seed in the playoffs and the NFC North crown.
