What would the internet be without the mind-numbing, pointless debates like 'which way should the silverware point when loading the dishwasher?'

Down. The answer is down.

Another of our timeless internet quarrels is when, exactly, it is appropriate to decorate your home for Christmas. Believe it or not, there are people who devote significant mental energy to this topic.

Case in point, this post on the internet.

Since you asked, I would say the correct time to decorate the home for Christmas is whenever you fell like it... after Thanksgiving. Listen, I won't get all worked up if you put out your Santa Bob Minion inflatable November 5th or whatever.

At the same time, if we don't set some boundaries we are going to be seeing, I don't know, Karate Elves (if that's not already I thing I'm dibs-ing it) all year long.

With those strict but fair parameters set, can we all agree that Wal-Mart already transforming its Garden Center into a winter wonderland before we even hit Halloween is bit much? Just me?

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy seeing a nearly ten-foot tall inflatable ginger bread house with accompanying ginger bread man as much as the next guy. I not only entered the Christmas area but I also made two unnecessarily early purchases including a set of family pajamas. Guess I just have to keep track of them for two months.. good luck to me!
