Girls Hockey: Breakers, Storm’n Sabres Post Wins

The Sartell/Sauk Rapids Storm'N'Sabres posted a 3-1 win over the Rogers Royals Tuesday night in their season opener. Claire Minnerath made 27 saves to earn the win, while Amanda Flemming notched a pair of goals. Brooke Walters added a goal and two assists. The Storm'N'Sabres host Alexandria Friday night.

The St. Cloud Ice Breakers beat Brainerd/Little Falls 2-0 at the MAC Tuesday night. Emily Muscielewicz earned the shutout and Allie Cornelius accounted for the offense with two goals. St. Cloud hosts River Lakes Friday night at the MAC.
