Comedian Jim Gaffigan is coming to Minneapolis and Rochester for a total of five shows in October and November.

After the past year we've had, it's good to laugh. Comedian Jim Gaffigan last week announced a new 63-show stand up comedy tour called The Fun Tour."

"I’m so excited to head back out with a new stand up show The Fun Tour," the funnyman shared on Facebook May 10. "We all deserve this."

He'll kick off his tour in Las Vegas August 7 and conclude December 31 in Orlando. Along the way, he has two Minnesota stops planned in Minneapolis and Rochester. October 15 and 16 Gaffigan will perform three shows -- including an early show and late show on the 16th -- at the State Theater in Minneapolis. As of writing, the early show is already sold out.

November 11 and 12 Gaffigan will again be in Minnesota for two shows at the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester.

Gaffigan's most recent special The Pale Tourist was released for streaming Amazon Prime last July 2020. In it, he retells stories from his global tour -- the places he visited, the locals he met and learning about their culture.
