Snowfall is 100% certain for Wednesday evening in much of Minnesota, and some parts could see up to 4 inches before it's all over!

If you remember the Halloween snow storm of 1991, then you'll understand why snowy forecasts in October leave us worrying a bit. See this Accuweather video recapping that storm below:

According to Bring Me The News, Wednesday evening promises snow and rain mix, with accumulations up to 4 inches in some parts of the state, primarily in the northern areas of the state up to International Falls.

Meteorologist Paul Douglas is reporting that snow will turn the Brainerd area into a slushy mess for a few hours during the snow fall.

The St. Cloud area should see very little snow accumulation, but should be careful of diminished driving conditions with rain and snow mix, as well as wind gusts around 25 MPH. If there is any accumulation, ground temperatures won't support the snow staying around for more than a few hours. Temperatures will warm up next week and could possibly hit 60 degrees in the area.
