Boy Hurt in Lawnmower Accident
SWAN RIVER TOWNSHIP -- A two-year-old boy had to be airlifted to the North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale after he was run over by a lawnmower Wednesday.
The Morrison County Sheriff's Office was called to a home south of Little Falls just before 5:30 p.m.
Authorities say 32-year-old Alex Warzecha was mowing with a zero-turn riding lawnmower and his three-year-old son was riding on the back. The boy fell off while Warzecha was making a turn and was accidentally run over while the blades were engaged.
The toddler was airlifted to the hospital with a severe leg injury.
