Anthony Edwards Sets Timberwolves Playoff Record In Thrilling Run
The Minnesota Timberwolves are just one win away from the Western Conference Finals, and in the process of their recent playoff success, one Timberwolves player just accomplished something that no other Timberwolves player has done before. On top of that new franchise record, the Wolves have the third-best odds to win the Larry O'Brien!
In Just 5 Years, Anthony Edwards Is Setting Franchise Records!
Anthony Edwards is a special player, being drafted first overall in 2020, a strange year for sports and life, as we were all dealing with the pandemic, it was unclear if the Wolves were getting a true player or were true to being the Timberwolves, and the bad luck that seemed to surround the franchise. Well at this point in his career, only year 5, we now know Timberwolves fans and even the casual fans know they got a STUD.
Anthony Edwards just set the franchise record for playoff wins with 19, that's one more than what the team accomplished in its first 31 years! The good news is that he just keeps stacking the dubs, too!
If the Timberwolves finish out their series with Golden State tonight, they will get a few extra days of rest waiting for Oklahoma City or Denver to win out, and will again be in the Western Conference Finals.

Minnesota Is Looking Like A Favorite Team In Vegas
Also, if you are a fan of the Timberwolves, and you are in a state that allows sports betting...the Timberwolves now have the 3rd best odds to hoist the Larry O'Brien trophy!
In my life, the Wolves may have had better odds at the Larry O'Brien, back when the team featured Kevin Garnett, Sam Cassell, and Latrell Sprewell. That team lost in the Western Conference Finals to the tandem of Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O'Neal with the Lakers, which interrupted the Lakers' Dynasty as Detroit won the Championship that year.
When will we see the other shoe drop?
As a lifelong Minnesota fan I am choosing to stay positive on this team, something most of us write off as its a Minnesota team, but with new owners and a team that plays like a team with unselfish play, I like our chances, and will continue to howl at the TV nightly, even if the games have been SUPER late!
