American Bald Eagle Joins MN Fire Department’s 9/11 Display
Does it get any more American than this?
An American Bald Eagle landed on an Andover Fire Department's firetruck crane during a 9/11 tribute held Tuesday morning.
In a Facebook Live video posted to the Andover Fire Department's Facebook page, Fire Chief Jerry Streich says,
Look what landed on top of the aerial on 9/11."
He zooms in the camera to reveal the eagle perched atop the aerial basket.
Isn't that unbelievable?"
The eagle sits regally over the Highway 10 memorial in Coon Rapids for a few seconds more before flying off.
The video watches it leave as Chief Streich simply concludes, "Have a good day, everybody."
Within five hours of posting, the video had already gone viral with 363,000 views and 21,000 shares.
