We've already established that 40 degrees has two completely different meanings in Minnesota.

With temps hitting 40 this last weekend, it should come as no surprise that some Minnesotans thought it perfect weather to don their swim suits, slather on the sunscreen and hit the (frozen) water for a winter beach party!

In a video shared to Youtube by Allison Kuznia, a group of Minnesotans proudly march their way to the lake (in Minneapolis, it looks like), build snow castles, play volleyball, dance, dip and otherwise tease their counterparts ice fishing nearby.

"Cold water shenanigans from the state of Minnesota," reads the video's title. Sounds about right!
