
3 Hurt in Chain Reaction Crash in Buffalo
BUFFALO -- Three people were hurt after a chain reaction crash in Wright County Sunday.
The incident happened just before 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 25 and County Road 138 in Buffalo.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a Hyundai Veloster and a Chevrolet Trailblazer were stopped at a red light, when they were rear-ended by a third vehicle causing the chain reaction crash.
37-year-old Mark Baumgartner, of Clear Lake, was the driver who caused the crash. He was not hurt.
The driver of the trailblazer, 62-year-old Paulette Erhard of Waconia, was not hurt. Her passenger 63-year-old Steven Erhard suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the Hyundai, 31-year-old Amanda Olson of Minneapolis, and her passenger 50-year-old Jonathon Olson of Buffalo, both suffered minor injuries.
All injured were taken to the Buffalo Hospital.
