If you're the type of person that thinks it's better to ask someone on a date in person or over the phone, you're wrong.

Researchers at California State University in Sacramento found that you're more likely to score a date by asking that person out in an email or in a Facebook message. The thinking process behind this is that people are able to convey more of their emotions when they write them out.

You think twice about what you're going to say and you are able to choose your words more carefully...so there's less of a chance that you're going to make a you-know-what out of yourself.
