If you're the type of person that thinks it's better to ask someone on a date in person or over the phone, you're wrong.

Researchers at California State University in Sacramento found that you're more likely to score a date by asking that person out in an email or in a Facebook message. The thinking process behind this is that people are able to convey more of their emotions when they write them out.
