WAITE PARK (WJON News) -- With just over two weeks until the 4th of July, the City of Waite Park is reminding people to be safe.  While fireworks and celebrations go together, the city is reminding people to take the necessary precautions.

Some of the safety tips include being sure other people are out of range before setting fireworks off, keeping a bucket of water handy in case of a malfunction or fire, and never trying to relight a firework after it has failed.
