Volunteers Needed to “Wrap for a Good Paws” at Crossroads Mall
Back in 2019, Tri-County Humane Society is Wrapping for a Good Paws from Dec. 7th to Dec. 24th at Crossroads Center.
Why go through the hassle of hiding unwrapped gifts in your house where prying eyes can find them, when you have have the friendly folks from TCHS do the work for you.
In exchange for a free-will donation to the Tri-County Humane Society, volunteers will be stationed at Crossroads Mall from December 7th through 24th ready to wrap for you. Hours of operation for the volunteers are the same as open mall hours. There are suggested donations based on size of presents, and all the money raised goes to the shelter and the pets in it.
If you have a group looking to volunteer and donated time this holiday season, you can sign up for a time to wrap online here.
I got to TCHS every Tuesday, and everyone there is really excited about the new shelter that is being built. They just broke ground on it this month, and it will be double the area allowing them to take care of more animals in Central Minnesota. They are doing a lot of fundraising to make this new shelter happen, and Wrapping for a Good Paws is a super easy and convenient way for everyone to get involved. And cross one more thing off your holiday to-do list!
Check out all the animals available for adoption by going to the Tri-County Humane Society’s website or Facebook page. Or visit them at 735 8th Street Northeast in St. Cloud. They’re open Monday through Thursdays Noon to 6; Fridays noon to 8; Saturdays 11 to 5; and Sundays Noon to 5.
