A recent poll conducted by ESPN asked 111 National Football League players which stadium is the toughest to play at.

The Kansas City Chiefs' Arrowhead Stadium was ranked as the toughest in the league, with 57 of 111 votes given to the team and stadium that set the Guinness Book of World Records mark for loudest stadium- 142.2 db- in 2014.

Another famously tough venue checked in at number two on the survey with 41.5 votes- Seattle's Lumen Field. Known as the "12th Man," Seahawks fans combine with the stadium's unique shape to make a very raucous environment.

In third place in the poll is the home of the Minnesota Vikings, US Bank Stadium. Giants wide receiver Darius Slayton says the overwhelming amount of purple in the stadium sends opponents a clear message.

ESPN:

"As soon as you walk in there, everything is purple. You feel like you're out of place there. That is what a good atmosphere does. It makes you feel like you're in the wrong place. If you're in a different color, you feel like you don't belong in there."

US Bank Stadium received 28.5 votes, which ended up being ten points higher than fourth-place Philadelphia.  One anonymous player said that the stadium's signature 'SKOL' chant 'scarred' him.

The 14-2 Vikings have a chance to secure the #1 seed in the NFC, a first-round bye and second-round home game if they can beat the Lions in Detroit Sunday night. If the Vikings lose the game, they will open the playoffs in the Wild Card round on the road.

Sunday's game can be heard on WJON, with kickoff set for 7:20 p.m..
