Vietnam Vets Wanted – Special Video Recordings For 50th Anniversary Commeration at Mall of America
VIETNAM VETERANS WANTED
The Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs is honoring a commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War. Their goal is to let Minnesota Vietnam Veterans know that they are honored, respected and appreciated for their service.
OPPORTUNITY TO SHARE YOUR STORY
The event is being held to help improve Veterans quality of life by providing an opportunity for healing.
HIGHLIGHTING CONTRIBUTIONS AND SACRIFICES
The event is a way to thank them for their service, wherever they may have served during the Vietnam War. They also want to highlight the service of the Armed Forces during the war, and recognize the contributions and sacrifices that were made by allies of the United States during that time, especially those allies who made Minnesota their home.
RECORD YOUR VIDEO STORY TO BE ARCHIVED
They are also doing something very special. They are looking for Veterans that are willing to share their stories at the event. To participate, Veterans will be interviewed to record a video of their story. This will be archived and preserved as part of the project. Family members are also invited to help give a clearer picture of the effect that service had.
If you are a Vietnam Veteran and would be willing to share your story, please contact Bess Ellenson at bellenson@tunheim.com.
