If you miss Edward and Bella on the big screen, don't worry, the two could be back this summer!

RiffTrax, the trio behind Mystery Science 3000, is attempting to raise money to buy the rights to Twilight so they can live Riff the latest Twilight movie. What they do is air a movie live and instead of the movies audio, they add their commentary during a one-night only screening.

Twilight was chosen as the Worst Movie of All Time in a poll created to see which film they should lampoon next. The group has already received almost $158,000 in donations on their Kickstarter.com page after setting a goal to raise $55,000 by March 27, 2013.

It was announced on the RiffTrax Twitter feed that the extra donations will go toward hiring celebrity guests and general production costs. They are hoping to have the event broadcast live on hundreds of movie screens in August 2013.

Is this a good idea or a bad idea? Possibly funny if you're not a huge Twilight fan, possible bad if you are a Twi-hard who doesn't like their favorite movie series to be made fun of.
