2013 Razzies: ‘Twilight’ Finally Gets the Recognition It Deserves!
After all these months, it's finally happened -- 'The Twilight Saga' has been nominated for the 2013 Razzies... in literally every category! What's the rule, again? If your only awards come from the MTV Movie Awards and People's Choice, expect to get a Razzie?
While we're all waiting patiently for the 2013 Oscar nominations, which will be announced by Seth MacFarlane and Emma Stone tomorrow morning, the arguably more influential 2013 Razzie nominations were revealed just the other day! Though, it definitely did not speak well of 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.'
Even though many Twi-hards consider 'Breaking Dawn - Part 2' to be the best installment of 'The Twilight Saga,' the folks behind the 33rd Annual Golden Raspberry Awards felt differently. The odds are certainly not in it's favor as the flick swept every category, including Worst Picture, Worst Actress (Kristen Stewart), Worst Actor (Robert Pattinson) and Worst Supporting Actor (Taylor Lautner). Ouch!
There were some other obvious inclusions, like 'Battleship' and 'That's My Boy,' both of which are by far the closest to 'Twilight' in terms of nominations (having scored seven and eight respectively).
