Trans-Siberian Orchestra Steps Up For Snowbound Would-Be Concert Goers
Sunday's weather was nasty and caused the postponement of several events throughout the State of Minnesota. There were over 400 crashes throughout the day and night as heavy snow combined with rapidly dropping temperatures and strong winds enveloped the entire state.
WHAT WAS CANCELED ON SUNDAY?
In some cases, the show went on. The World Junior Hockey Championships continued at Grand Casino Arena and 3M Arenas on Sunday, although the outdoor portions of the 'fan-fest' were closed at 1:30 p.m..
In Minneapolis, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra was slated to play one of their annual holiday shows at Target Center and the band decided to go forward with the show despite the weather.
TRANS-SIBERIAN ORCHESTRA REFUNDS/RESCHEDULE
TSO realized that a lot of people probably made the difficult decision to stay home and miss out on the concert, so they went to social media to make an offer they frankly didn't need to make.
