Earlier this week the CEO for cigarette maker Phillip Morris surprised everyone who has ever tried to quit smoking by saying that tobacco is not that hard to quit. He made the statement at the annual share holders meeting, as reported by Business Week.

"[Louis] Camilleri acknowledged that cigarettes are harmful and addictive but said it is not that hard to quit. He pointed to the fact that there are more former smokers in America than current smokers."

Yes…true. But as a former smoker myself, I know that every one of those former smokers went (and probably put their friends and family) through hell to get there.

And if you need more proof that quitting cigarettes is one of the most awful experiences in the world – check out this very angry kitty.
