Rejoice, nerds! Tina Fey is the latest name to join the cast of the upcoming 'Muppets' sequel. In the words of the comedy icon herself: We can have it all!

THR reports that Tina Fey has joined the cast of 'The Muppets 2' as the female lead, starring opposite fellow human and 'Invention of Lying' co-star Ricky Gervais. Up until now, there was no information on who the studio was considering for the part of the female lead, but we sure are glad it's Fey.

The sequel will follow the Muppets on a European adventure, with Ty Burrell also on board to play a lazy Interpol agent. Details on the plot are scarce, but the script is once again penned by Nicholas Stoller, who co-wrote the first film with Jason Segel -- the latter of whom will not be returning for the sequel (but what about Walter??).

Also returning is director James Bobin, who co-wrote the script with Stoller this time around, and even without Segel involved, this almost guarantees to be a great experience, especially now that they've added Tina Fey to the mix.

Fey has been wrapping up the final season of '30 Rock' (sad!), and stars in the upcoming comedy 'Admission' with Paul Rudd (happy!).
