My wife and I have been getting to know our new community in Rogers, MN.

We bought our first home several weeks ago, and -- with limited fitness options available to us right now due to the coronavirus -- we've been going for frequent walks and runs around our new neighborhood. One route takes us past Rogers Elementary School.

On a walk over the weekend, we were surprised to discover a cute little rock with a smiley face painted on it outside the school!

The unexpected find -- which hadn't been there just days before -- brought a smile to our own faces. A short distance later, we found another rock, this one painted with a cute leaf or feather design!

Curious to know whether there were more, we kept our eyes peeled as we continued walking. Sure enough, another short distance later, we found another painted rock with the name "MAX" on it!

Finding painted rocks quickly became like a game of I Spy or Where's Waldo, and we found two more rocks before passing Rogers Elementary School!

I don't know who painted the rocks along the sidewalk in Rogers (Max?), but my wife and I sure appreciated it! Maybe we'll paint some of our own and add them along the way!
