The Voice Auditions Are This Saturday! [VIDEO]

MY AUDITION FOR THE VOICE IS 7 AM ON SATURDAY

Nerves. Yes... I have them. How do I feel? Indifferent. It's exciting...It's heartbreaking. Your dreams are held right out in front of you and you either get a thumbs up, or a pass. I think that is the hardest thing to have to deal with. I've been in so many contests over the years..The wins are exciting..The losses are what devastating. Either way, if the opportunity is in front of you...you must face your fears. Walk through that door, and let the experience happening. That's what I'm going to do. I'm not making a big to do about it. I've had my music career. It was full of excitement and heartbreak. As with anything, you take the good with the bad, and rest thankful you had the chance. There is no wrong or right...There is no winners or losers...There is the opportunity...and that...is a gift.

NBC's "The Voice" is coming to Minneapolis on Saturday, June 25th. The location:

AUDITIONS

To audition, you first have to go to http://www.nbcthevoice.com/auditions/opencalldates and create an account. You'll then be asked to choose your audition city, and the time specific group that you want to participate in. You'll then have to go back to your account page approximately one week before your audition, to print your pass to attend the event. Only those competing will be allowed in the audition area. Each Contestant is asked to prepare two songs and you must sing A CAPPELLA only. You will only sing one song, but you are to have a second song ready if asked. NO instruments are allowed at the open call audition.

CALL BACK AUDITIONS

If you get a Call Back audition, you will be given a scheduled date and time to return. You will be asked to have three popular/current songs that the producer may choose from to ask you to perform. No original music is allowed, however, at these auditions you can sing with backing tracks, play an instrument, or have one person play for you. You MUST have accompaniment at the callbacks.
