The latest single from alternative rock band The Killers is playing now on Mix 94.9.

"Caution" -- the infectious toe-tapper from The Killers -- released Friday, March 13 and is the lead single from the band's upcoming sixth studio album.

With lyrics like "I'm throwing caution // What's it gonna be? // Tonight the winds of change are blowing wild and free // If I don't get out // Out of this town // I just might be the one who finally burns it down," the song is an anthem about embracing change.

"It's sort of about having the wherewithal to listen to that angel on your shoulder," said Killers frontman Brandon Flowers in an interview, "even if they're telling you something that you don't want to hear. And I think for me, this song was a lot about leaving Las Vegas. I was having this sort of hunch or impression that that was something that I was supposed to do for my family. And it was hard for me. ... And so it was tough for me to leave, and I thought I was able to harness that energy, and there was a sort of a relief when it happened, and you kind of feel that the spirit in 'Caution,' I feel like.”

"Caution" is the first song from The Killers in two years and will feature on their upcoming album "Imploding the Mirage." It also features guest guitar from former Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham. In addition, the band announced a North America summer/fall tour with a September 22 stop at St. Paul's Xcel Energy Center (coronavirus permitting).
