The Last Remaining ‘Crosby Cat’ Has Found Her Fur-Ever Home!
ESTELLE 68
It has been a little over four months since TCHS took in over 90 cats that were in dire need of attention and a new home.
TCHS informed me that in all, 94 cats were taken in from a home in Crosby, Minnesota, with the help of Minnesota Federated Humane Societies.
FACTS
Here are some facts that were provided from TCHS as of yesterday:
- 2 of the 94 cats were actually returned to their owners.
- Unfortunately, four of the cats died on their own, despite TCHS doing everything they could to save them.
- 34 of the cats were humanely euthanized due to serious health issues.
- That leaves us with the remaining four cats who are now looking for their new chance at a new and better life with a family that will love them.
- TCHS was happy to report that 51 Crosby cats have been adopted since that time.
Now that the last Crosby Cat his been adopted, the number jumps to 55.
SWEET ESTELLE 68
Kate from TCHS said they like to save the best for last; Estelle 68 was definitely a sweet kitty and patiently waited for her new home. We are happy to announce that Estelle 68 has been adopted by one of the friendly Foster Care staff. She's not been taken in as a Foster by this Foster Mom, This Foster mom has adopted Estelle 68 as one of her own.
The Crosby Cat project was THE largest amount of cats that they had ever taken in before from one location, and we are so happy that so many will long long, happy lives thanks to the hard work of everyone involved.
We hope the absolute best for Estelle 68 in her brand new forever home.
