Target will take your old car seats April 22 through May 4!

Between April 22 and May 4, Target will accept and recycle your old car seats including "infant seats, convertible seats, car seat bases, harness or booster car seats and car seats that are expired or damaged. Materials from the old car seats will be recycled by Target’s partner, Waste Management."

According to Target's website, guests who trade in a car seat will receive a 20% discount coupon to go towards their next purchase of specific items including "a new car seat, car seat base, travel system, stroller or select baby home gear, such as playards, high chairs, swings, rockers and bouncers."

Coupons will be eligible through May 11.

Car seat trade-ins will be available at participating locations, including Monticello, Otsego, Rogers, and a number of Metro-area stores. St. Cloud and the rest of Central Minnesota west of Monticello do not appear to be included.
