When designing began for the new Sartell high school safety and security was just as high of a priority as teaching and learning. Superintendent Jeff Schwiebert says they started talking about security from the very beginning.
After years of planning, the new Sartell High School officially got underway Monday night. The 290,000 square foot building is set to be opened in the Fall of 2019.
What started out as a book club at Sartell High School has morphed into an effort to raise awareness about sex trafficking. StAT, or Students Against Trafficking started after the club read a novel about an American family who dealt with sex trafficking.
